Why Dennen
Ward 2 does not need on-the-job training. I bring the three things this seat actually calls for: a lawyer's eye for what the city is signing, a Chamber president's understanding of what small business needs, and a volunteer's habit of showing up.
I know the law
An Attorney Who Reads Every Word
Ordinances, contracts, zoning code, and developer agreements are legal documents. I have spent my career reading them for a living, so Ward 2 gets an alderman who catches the fine print before the vote, not a lawsuit or a loophole after it.
I know small business
Past Chamber of Commerce President
As President of the Hendersonville Area Chamber of Commerce, I worked alongside shop owners, contractors, restaurants, and family firms of every size. I understand what permitting delays, road closures, and tax decisions actually cost the people who sign the front of a paycheck.
I show up
A Lifelong Volunteer
As Past President of the Hendersonville Rotary Club and a 38-year resident, I have given my time to this city long before there was a ballot involved. Service is my habit, not my campaign strategy.
Meet Keith
I have called Hendersonville home for 38 years. I am an attorney and a longtime community leader, having served as President of both the Hendersonville Area Chamber of Commerce and the Hendersonville Rotary Club.
Thirty-eight years in one city builds something you cannot campaign your way into: I already know the businesses on our corridors, the volunteers who keep events running, and the history behind the decisions the Board is asked to make.
I read the law for a living, so I read the city's ordinances, contracts, and development agreements the same way, carefully, in public, and before the vote. Leading the Chamber taught me what a permitting delay or a closed lane really costs a family business, and years of Rotary service taught me that the work that matters most rarely comes with a title.

Priorities
Smart, Managed Growth
Hendersonville is growing fast. I will review every development against real traffic, school, and infrastructure capacity, not just the tax revenue.
Roads & Traffic That Work
I will prioritize road, sidewalk, and intersection projects that actually shorten our commute along the busiest corridors, and hold contractors to their schedules.
Public Safety First
I will fully support our police, fire, and EMS with the staffing, pay, and equipment they need to keep response times low across the ward.
Responsible Spending
Every dollar in the city budget belongs to you. I will push for line-item scrutiny, clear reporting, and no surprises at the end of the fiscal year.
Lake, Parks & Green Space
I will protect access to Old Hickory Lake, invest in our parks and greenways, and keep the character that made us all move here in the first place.
An Open Door
You should not have to chase down your alderman. I will give you regular updates, real answers, and a seat at the table before decisions get made.

Everything a Ward 2 neighbor needs to cast a ballot. Dates come from the Sumner County Election Commission, always confirm with them before you head out.

Any registered Sumner County voter may vote early at any early voting site in the county. Confirm the final schedule and locations with the Sumner County Election Commission.

You must be registered 30 days before the election to vote in it.

Tennessee requires a reason to vote absentee by mail, including being 60 or older, hospitalized, out of the county during the entire early voting period and on election day, or a full-time student outside the county. Request your ballot in writing from the Sumner County Election Commission no later than seven days before the election.
